Lee Summers administers and publishes a catalog of theatrical and recorded musical works through his publishing entity, Maritime Music. His catalog includes nearly 300 compositions written for musical theatre, recordings, concerts, and stage productions.
Summers is affiliated as a songwriter with both ASCAP and BMI and is registered with The Mechanical Licensing Collective (MLC). His work spans numerous theatrical properties and recordings and has been performed in regional theatres, Off-Broadway productions, and concert venues across the United States.
His musical From My Hometown, currently represented by Concord Theatricals, incorporates 24 classic soul recordings licensed from multiple major music publishers alongside Summers’ original compositions. Publishers represented in the score include Sony Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), Warner Chappell Music, ABKCO Music & Records, and other major rights holders.
